Mr. Smiley's stunning performance last year of the gorgeous Barber Violin Concerto with the Symphony of the Redwoods produced wild applause from an audience who received more of the same. He performed with Pianist Jonathan Shames, a recipient of the Finalist Diploma Award at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Competition. The duo has been recognized for their technical brilliance, scholarship, and deep artistry.
