Dear music lovers, we'll again have something wonderful for you next spring –
a mini-season of opera in the beautiful coastal village of Mendocino.
2012 Performance Dates & Times
| FBCA presents the Mendocino Chamber Opera in a comic opera double-bill: "I Can’t Stand Wagner" by Seymour Barab and "Rita" by Gaetano Donizetti, two very funny one-act operas. Performers include favorite Mendocino singers Robert Goleman, Ana Lucas, and Sarah Wagner, accompanied by Jack Leung at the grand piano. Richard Goodman is the music director, and Ann Woodhead is the stage director. |
The mission of Mendocino Chamber Opera is to stage lesser-known comic operas and music dramas of modest proportions. We prefer to use local singers, musicians, and artists and, to better reach our audiences, we sing in English and keep ticket prices low.
